Are there clear criteria for being correct in an argument? The phrase, “You’re wrong!” is frequently heard in a dispute. But what does a person convey with this message? It is evident that one wishes to signify a sense of fairness within the context one perceives. However, the opposing side also possesses its own truth and its own perspective on justice. It becomes apparent that one person’s quest for justice is evidently insufficient. To decide who is right, it is necessary to know certain principles, or laws.
